Waiting Anxiously: 3 Weeks for PGT-A Results

I find myself in the midst of a nerve-wracking wait - 3 weeks until I receive the results of my PGT-A testing. The anticipation is truly testing my patience as I navigate through this period of uncertainty. The waiting game is full of mixed emotions - hope, fear, and a constant battle with overthinking every possible outcome. It’s comforting to know that many of you might be going through a similar experience. How do you all cope with the anxiety during this 3-week waiting period? Any tips or words of wisdom to share to help ease the restlessness?

We are still in the early stages of the PGT-A process, but we had a counseling session to prepare for it. The session indicated that it typically takes 2-3 weeks for the process to be completed.

Euploid or aneuploid results seem to take the same amount of time based on my understanding. It’s possible you were just at the bottom of the queue and it took a while for them to reach your sample. I hope you receive your results soon and that they bring you the outcome you desire!

We are currently experiencing a delay in receiving our PGT results. We fertilized frozen eggs in February and received results in two weeks, but after sending two day 6 blasts for testing in May, it has been three and a half weeks with no results. A friend mentioned that the labs may be busy with a high volume of genetic testing requests.

I’m also waiting for my PGT-A results🤞 after my egg retrieval on 23 May. I’m in Australia and was told that PGT-A results are taking longer than usual, around 20+ days. If results are not back in time, I may have to wait another cycle for a frozen transfer. I hope that, given your age of 35, your embryos are euploid. I’m a bit worried about not having any viable embryos, being almost 10 years older. Did you use ICSI with a zymot chip this cycle? We used the zymot chip and are hoping it helped.

Hello! I was informed that my results would be ready in two weeks, but they came back after only 7 days. I am in Texas, so maybe you received them sooner.

I engaged with Luminary for my two rounds and they initially quoted 3 weeks but completed it in 10 business days. I believe this timeframe is typical and I don’t rely on their timeline as an indication of results.
