Sharing my recent experience navigating through the rollercoaster of emotions that accompany a late positive test result during my FET journey. Initially feeling defeated by negative feedback when testing early, little did I know that a positive outcome was waiting to surprise me later. The emotional whirlwind, uncertainty, hope, fear, and ultimately joy that come with this unexpected turn of events have truly been overwhelming yet beautifully miraculous.
I’d love to hear from others who have been through similar moments of delayed positive testing during their fertility treatments. Your stories, support, and shared experiences can truly make a difference in this journey filled with ups and downs. Let’s create a safe space to connect, share, and uplift
Based on everything I’ve seen, day 5 is considered early for many individuals. Don’t give up just yet!
On Day 5, it might be too soon still. I personally got my first faint positive on Day 6 with a FRER test, so maybe wait until Day 7 or 8 for a more definitive result. Best of luck to you!
It is still early to test at 5dpt, but a FRER at 8 or 9dpt should be accurate as it aligns with 13 or 14dpo.
5 days past transfer is considered early, but using a sensitive test such as a FRER at 8 or 9 days past transfer should provide accurate results, as that is equivalent to 13 or 14 days past ovulation.
