Trying for a Baby and Feeling Anxious - Let's Talk About Beta and Pregnancy Tests!

Hey all, I’ve been on quite the emotional rollercoaster with fertility testing lately, and I’m sure many of you can relate. This week, I wanted to open up a discussion on beta and pregnancy testing. Whether you’re waiting for results, have questions about the process, or just need a virtual hug, this is the space to share and support each other. Drop your thoughts below and let’s navigate this journey together."

My beta results on 11dpt were 148, on 13dpt they were 390. I have another beta test today. It’s difficult to remain hopeful that things are moving in the right direction overall. I’m trying to take things one appointment at a time.

Hello everyone! I never imagined I would be sharing in this forum, but after much deliberation, we made the decision to transfer our final euploid embryo. 9 days past transfer and our hCG level is 522!

First beta at 8 days past 5 day transfer was 179, waiting for retest tomorrow with fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:t2::crossed_fingers:t2::crossed_fingers:t2:.

I decided to cave and test with Labcorp on 7 days past a 5-day transfer since my clinic will only test me on 14 days past transfer. The result was 53, so now I’ll wait for 14 days past transfer to see the progression with the clinic. Sending patience and chill vibes your way! :woman_in_lotus_position:

My beta levels have been increasing slowly. At 8dp5dt it was 91, at 10 days it was 161, and at 12 days it’s 241. Despite my research suggesting this may not be positive, my clinic doesn’t appear to be worried. I transferred two embryos. They are scheduling an ultrasound for next week, but aren’t giving me any warning of potential bad news. I have experience with bad news, so it’s strange to me that they’re not preparing me for the possibility.

I had a 5th day blast transferred on July 9th. Should I wait 14 days before using an early pregnancy test kit?

Received a call yesterday with my 9dp5dt test result, which was around 250 according to the nurse. Instead of advising another test in 2 days, she suggested to come back in 10 days. Is this typical for a first IVF cycle?

My beta at 12dp5dt is 133, can I cautiously allow myself to be happy? This is my fifth FET, and the two previous ones resulted in chemicals but with much lower levels (in the 40s).

Unfortunately, my beta was today at 9dp5dt but they didn’t receive the results in time, so I won’t have any information until Monday. It’s really disappointing.

My beta D10pt showed a result of 170, which was considered good. However, a week later, my D17pt has increased to 917. The nurse mentioned that this is only a 5-fold increase and they were hoping for a 10-fold increase. Ectopic pregnancy was mentioned as a potential concern, but no definitive information was provided on my chances. I would like to mentally prepare if the news is bad. Any insights?

I will be retesting tomorrow in hopes of receiving positive news. It’s been 4 days since the transfer, and I saw a very faint line on an early First Response test this morning. I plan to take another test tomorrow and hopefully see a slightly darker line. Could this faint line be from the Novarel shot or is there a good chance it’s positive? I’ve been experiencing cramping, mood swings, breast tenderness, and nausea, which is unusual for me. I appreciate any positive thoughts and hope for a successful test tomorrow.

I need assistance! This embryo is my only hope after 4 cycles. The test lines are faint and it’s 10 days past a 5-day transfer. Is there a chance this is a chemical pregnancy?

I am currently 4.5 days post a 5 day transfer with a twin pregnancy success. I received positive results on both my First Response Early Result and Clearblue digital tests. Is it unusual to receive a positive digital result this early after a fresh transfer with no trigger?

Yesterday was my first beta at 9dp5dt, but I won’t hear from my clinic until Monday because they didn’t have the results in time. The number they posted on mychart was 41. The line on my HPT was faint on 8dp5dt, and slightly darker today at 10dp5dt. Any success stories with similar numbers?

Can someone assist me? How concerning is this lack of progression at 11dp5dt? I’m worried that the lines aren’t getting darker.

Does anyone remember the website that categorized the number of people in different beta ranges by the number of days after embryo transfer in old posts? I can’t seem to locate it now.

Progression on FRER tests has been very slow, with minimal difference after 24 hours between tests. Looking for positive stories to stay hopeful during this difficult wait.

My BETA results were 41 at 9dp5dt, but I didn’t receive them until two days later due to the weekend. They didn’t express much concern, but advised me to go for another blood test today and again in 48 hours. Any success stories with a beta around 41 at 9dp5dt?

Just received a positive callback from our 10dpt beta with a level of 676! It seems a bit high but there has been a faint line since 3dpt and a stronger one at 9dpt, so maybe the pregnancy just took right away. Optimistically cautious that this could be the one!
