I repeated the process multiple times, and after a successful retrieval with no OHSS, I stopped being concerned about it. I would have canceled if I had developed OHSS, but fortunately that never happened.
I am not sure what constitutes a medium-high responder, but I underwent a fresh transfer after retrieving 16 eggs, and it was successful. My reproductive endocrinologist had mentioned that a normal AMH level should yield 10-15 eggs, so it seems like I am on the right track.
