Struggling with Uterine Fluid during FET Journey... Need Hope

Hey all, I’m currently in the midst of my FET journey and grappling with the presence of uterine fluid. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions, and I’m reaching out to hear about any success stories from those who have experienced similar challenges. The uncertainties are overwhelming, but sharing successes could be a beacon of hope for many of us. Please, if you have a story to share or some words of encouragement, I would truly appreciate them. Let’s support each other through this difficult time.

I have undergone two FET procedures with fluid in my lining. The first was postponed due to me contracting Covid just as I was starting progesterone. For the second attempt, we initiated me on antihistamines, medrol, and Guaifenesin twice daily. Despite still having fluid during the lining check, it decreased in size. Once progesterone was started and I returned for another check before transfer, the fluid had completely disappeared and the lining was trilaminar. My doctor mentioned that in 95% of cases, fluid in the lining disappears with the start of progesterone. She also suggested aspiration and transfer, but I was hesitant as the fluid could potentially return post-transfer. Ultimately, we decided to wait and monitor the situation to ensure a successful transfer.

What was the result? It happened to me yesterday, but we only noticed it on the day of transfer, so we proceeded anyway.
