Struggling with thin uterus lining - any advice?!

Hi everyone,
I’ve been on this journey for a while now and can’t seem to get my uterus lining to thicken as it should. Have any of you dealt with this issue before? Any tips or advice you could share would be greatly appreciated. It’s frustrating and disheartening, but knowing I’m not alone in this makes a huge difference. Thanks in advance for any insights you can offer!

I had difficulty achieving a thick lining on Letrozole as well! I only used it during IUIs, but my clinic prescribed me estrogen a few times to assist.

I’ve had difficulties with thin lining while using letrozole. I’ve tried different doses, but only vaginal estrace helps thicken it if caught at the right time. For the next FET, I plan to try tamoxifen, add estrace at 15mm follicle size, and request ganirelix or cetrotide to delay ovulation until the lining improves.

Thank you, ladies. I am currently waiting to hear from the nurses about taking vaginal estrogen and considering asking them myself.

My hair was getting thinner on Letrozole compared to when I wasn’t taking it, so we decided to discontinue its use. My reproductive endocrinologist informed me that this occurs in about 25% of cases. I also have PCOS.

I too suffer from PCOS. Continuous use of letrozole and other fertility treatments caused my lining to be consistently thin. Some cycles it would thicken just in time for ovulation, while other times it did not. What really worked for me was mini-stimulation during FET cycles, starting with a low dose of FSH on Day 8 and adding Ganirelix when needed. I understand how frustrating and overwhelming this process can be, but don’t lose hope! Good luck on your journey.

I may not have the exact answer to your question, but I’ve also struggled with my lining and found that acupuncture has been very beneficial. My acupuncturist also incorporated moxa treatment which I believe made a difference too.

I began taking vaginal estrogen tablets on Friday, CD 9, when my lining was 5.2. After three days of taking the tablets three times a day, I went back on CD12 and my lining had increased to 8.8!
