Struggling with Thin Uterine Lining - Seeking Advice

Hey everyone, I’ve been grappling with the issue of thinning uterine lining, and it’s been a source of worry for me lately. I’ve been doing some research on this topic, but it would be incredibly helpful to hear from others who may have experienced similar challenges. Would love to know what treatments or lifestyle changes have worked for you in improving or managing this condition. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

A lot of women in this community will probably tell you to try a mod natural or natural cycle!

I struggle with a thin lining and can never get it passed 6mm. My clinic has me trigger ovulation early when my lining is at its thickest and before any follicles reach maturity-otherwise my lining starts to drop. I had one FET fail with 6mm lining and one was successful with 5.9mm. Maybe your clinic can monitor when in your cycle it begins to drop and then adjust trigger timing based on that. I did all the vitamins and juice and I honestly dont think they made a difference. The only things I noticed that were consistent across both successful transfers were accupuncture, lovenox, and I also took sildenafil before the transfers to increase blood flow. I’m sorry you’re having this isssue- for a little reassurance, my clinic will transfer if it is over 5mm and trilaminar- it is not ideal but it can work.

I am so sorry this happened! I haven’t been through a FET yet but I am gearing up for my first one in August.

My understanding is 8-10mm is the sweet spot for lining thickness. Anything less than that, even if it’s trilaminar, isn’t ideal. At least that’s my understanding. Going in–did they tell you what they were looking for in terms of lining thickness? Also–was this a fully medicated timed cycle or modified natural? I’m just trying to understand the PIO timing.

As for the l-arginine and beet juice–tell me more!! I want to do everything I can to ensure a successful FET in August.

I had good luck on a patch protocol of 2 patches for a week then increased to 3 for 4 days, then 4 for 4 days. I had been having trouble with my lining before this but this past cycle went from 4.9 to 8.9 in 2 weeks. It’s supposed to mimic a cycle. At any rate, my last transfer still failed. effective today. It’s normal for it to collapse a little when it becomes trilaminar.

When I want to dig deeper, I usually use AI for additional assistance, but my first source of information is the myIVFanswers site. They have recorded webinars with experienced fertility doctors, and what I like most is that several people share their experiences on the same issue. Sometimes their experiences are very different. As for the lining, I’m sure you’ll find some helpful information there. Hope this helps, and good luck!
