At 7 days past transfer, I had a faint line on a sensitive pregnancy test. This is the first sign of a positive result in eight years of attempting to conceive. Feeling cautiously optimistic.
If you’re struggling in beta hell, these two studies may be beneficial:

I wanted to share my wife’s HCG levels to potentially help others who are looking for information. We had a transfer on July 18 with a 5AB or 5AA embryo. Her HCG levels were 420 on Day 10, 820 on Day 12, and 8835 on Day 17. We are anxiously awaiting the 6-week ultrasound this Friday. We are both feeling stressed, especially since this is our last attempt with a donor egg.
Is it permissible for me to share here? As a psychotherapist, I have two patients who are exploring IVF. I aim to educate myself on the process to better assist them with any challenges. Can anyone suggest comprehensive literature on the subject?
The first beta at 9dp6dt was 19, the second at 13dp6dt was 22, and the third at 15dp6dt was 44. I’ve been asked to take another beta test tomorrow at 17dpt and also scheduled for a viability ultrasound in a week. This indicates a chemical pregnancy, right?
Has anyone else had a similar experience? My beta at 8dp5dt was only 20, which the nurse said was positive but on the lower end. Today at 10dp5dt, my home tests are still negative. Second beta is in two days at 12dp5dt. Based on what I’ve read, these results may indicate a chemical or not viable pregnancy. It’s my first round of IVF so I’m trying not to get too discouraged.
Hello everyone,
I’m excited to share that this transfer was successful after several unsuccessful attempts. The embryo was PGT-tested and deemed healthy.
It’s currently 9dp5dt and my beta levels were 58, which seems a bit low compared to others.
I’m currently taking progesterone (injections, suppositories, and oral), estradiol for lining support, blood thinners, and prednisone.
My second beta is in 2 days, and I’m feeling nervous about the results.
Has anyone else had a similar beta at 9dp5dt and had a healthy pregnancy outcome?
Thank you
.
My beta levels at 10dp5dt and 14dp5dt were 162 and 96, respectively. Unfortunately, I was advised to discontinue medication as it was likely a chemical pregnancy. This was our third FET attempt, leaving us with seven more embryos to try with.
Hello everyone,
I am curious to know when the ovidrel trigger completely stops showing up on a pregnancy test. I am currently 7 days post a 5-day embryo transfer and 14 days past receiving the ovidrel trigger shot. My blood test is scheduled for August 18, which is still 6 days away.
I have been trying to patiently wait for my blood test appointment, but I couldn’t resist testing at home today for the first time. However, the test showed a very faint positive line. Could this be due to the ovidrel still being in my system? I plan to test again tomorrow, but would appreciate any insights on this matter. Thank you!
Trigger Warning: Positive Outcome with Early Frozen Embryo Transfer
Received my 14-day post transfer Beta results today… at a fantastic 3642!
Comparing to the original 10-day post transfer of 499.7, it more than doubled every 24 hours. Is this number unusually high for one embryo? Any experiences with similar numbers on day 14?
We only transferred one hatched embryo. The possibility of twins would be amazing, but even one healthy baby would be a blessing. After facing two losses, the ultimate goal is a healthy baby. Fingers crossed for a successful outcome after a long journey of trying. ![]()

Yesterday afternoon, I took a pregnancy test (8 days past 3 day transfer) and saw a faint pink line on a FRER, but it appeared after the recommended 10 minute window. This morning, I tested again with FMU and got a negative result. Could it have been an evap line? My Beta test is scheduled for Saturday.
Received my 9dp5dt beta results - it’s 222.6. In the past, I would have been ecstatic and planning due dates and gender reveal, but my previous chemical pregnancies had similar strong numbers and still ended in disappointment. My successful pregnancy had a beta of 236 at 10dp5dt, so I know there’s hope. I’ll be on edge until I get the Saturday numbers.
