I’ve been on quite a rollercoaster lately. In the past 5 months, I’ve been pregnant three times, hoping that finally, this would be the time we welcome a little one into our family. But, unfortunately, I’m still left empty-handed, wondering why things aren’t working the way we hoped they would. It’s been a tough road, full of emotions and uncertainty. I’m at a loss for what steps to take next and could really use some support and advice. Has anyone else experienced something similar or have any words of encouragement to share?
I experienced a chemical pregnancy at 38, almost 39, followed by two early losses at age 40. After unsuccessful attempts with fertility meds, we decided to pursue IVF for PGT-A testing. The first round resulted in all aneuploid blasts, but the second round, with the help of omnitrope, led to three euploid embryos. The first FET was successful at age 41. It may be worth considering testing instead of fresh transfers to increase your chances of success.
We began attempting to conceive when I was 39 years old. After experiencing 4 losses, we decided to undergo our first round of IVF, which unfortunately ended in another miscarriage. Due to limited testing options in my area, we proceeded with a second round of IVF and ultimately obtained 2 day 5 embryos. One was frozen and the other was transferred, resulting in me currently being 21 weeks pregnant at the age of 41. Best of luck to you as well!
Maintaining hope is crucial! I’ve come to realize this through my fertility journey. Despite experiencing multiple pregnancies, a failed transfer, and only one child from IVF, I remain optimistic. My successful protocol entailed using autoimmune pills, intralipids, and PGTA at the age of 38. Now, at 40, with a 2-year-old child, I am determined to try for baby #2 through IVF. I truly believe this may be my best chance for a successful pregnancy. Don’t give up!
Are you undergoing PGT-A testing? Given our age, the risk of aneuploidy is higher. It’s essentially a numbers game at this stage.
Additionally, make sure to also assess the sperm for DFI.
I believe that you would benefit more from trying Omni instead of Letrozole. Give it a shot!

Have you explored the auto immune protocol or thought about reproductive immunology? It may be beneficial to investigate at this stage and multiple miscarriages. The positive aspect is that you can achieve pregnancy. The key is to find ways to maintain it.
I’m so sorry to hear what you’re going through. One thing worth considering is getting both you and your husband tested — fertility challenges can sometimes come from the male side as well, and it’s helpful to have the full picture early on
