Hey all! I’m currently on the PPOS protocol and considering when to start taking Provera (Medroxyprogesterone acetate) - did any of you start it on the same day as stimulation, or did you wait until later in the process? I’d love to hear about your experiences and what worked best for you! Thanks in advance for sharing your insights!
My doctor advised me to take the medication on day 6 during my last round, but the nurse for my current round instructed me to take it on day one. The doctor confirmed this change, explaining that it is the common protocol at RMA NJ. I am unsure whether to follow the new instructions or stick to taking it on day 5/6.
I am not sure why it changed, but I followed this protocol and began taking provera on the first day of stims!
Begun with stimulants and continued until receiving the trigger shot.
I began taking provera on cycle day 5 after being on letrozole with stims for 3 days.
