Hello fellow forum members,
I recently underwent my first FET (frozen embryo transfer) and, like many others in this journey, I’m eager to explore all avenues for enhancing the chances of a successful outcome. As I navigate through the maze of information available, I’ve come across various wives’ tales, pseudoscience, superstitions, Eastern Medicine practices, and of course, the ever-present pool of actual research-backed tips.
I’ve heard about the benefits of consuming Brazil nuts, the idea of eating pineapple core for implantation support, and the theory of sleeping on the left side for improved blood flow. These are just a few examples of the wide array
I consumed so much beet juice that now I don’t find beets to taste like dirt anymore. The supporting science may be weak, but it also stains everything in a fun way.
I didn’t follow any of those suggestions and my first FET was successful. So my advice would be: Have some wine and pizza the night before, take a break from your husband who’s sick with Covid, be late, waste time searching for lost headphones, enjoy Singaporean food, get a foot massage, and take an international flight the next day.
The embryo is handling everything on its own, so don’t stress over trying to control the outcome. My first FET failed despite doing everything perfectly, like acupuncture and staying low stress. Surprisingly, my second FET was successful even though I faced extreme challenges right after the transfer. Just focus on living your life and doing things that make you happy.
What a stroke of luck to find French fries after switching buses!
Is it true that warm feet are a thing? I’ve never heard of that before.
Make sure to keep your feet cozy and warm.

You cannot control the outcome of a transfer, so it’s best to stick to your routine and take care of yourself with a prenatal.
You forgot to mention the most crucial item, McDonald’s fries!
I didn’t change anything and my first attempt was successful. Afterward, I went shopping and enjoyed a Sunday lunch with a Bloody Mary. I also had one session of reflexology. I made sure to stay cozy and warm at home. Best of luck to everyone! ![]()

The clinic mentioned that the outcome is mainly up to the embryo, but it’s still important to take steps to feel some sense of control. I consumed McDonald’s fries, despite disliking them, and continued to eat brazil nuts and drink pomegranate juice. I focused on eating warm foods, wearing socks daily, and prioritized activities that brought me joy. After the embryo transfer, I returned to my usual routine, including working and tending to the vineyard, going on walks, and engaging in activities I enjoy.
I consumed a mixture of pomegranate juice and sugar-free ginger ale before and after transfer for a couple of weeks. While I’m not certain this was the reason for success, it did make a tasty mocktail!
My doctor prescribed me Benadryl, Claritin, baby Aspirin, and Pepcid to take both before and after my second transfer at the clinic.
