Seeking Advice: Improving Egg and Sperm Quality Naturally

I’m on a journey to enhance the quality of my eggs and sperm naturally, and I’m curious if anyone has experience with medications or protocols that have helped in this area. I’ve been researching various supplements and lifestyle changes, but I’d love to hear real stories or recommendations from this community. Looking forward to learning and sharing insights!

Our doctor recommended taking CoQ10 before our egg retrievals to potentially improve egg and sperm quality. Despite both of us taking it, we ended up with 4 euploid embryos and 1 LLM embryo. Our previous transfer resulted in our now 21-month-old son, but subsequent transfers failed for unknown reasons. We are undergoing surgery to investigate further. My wife’s egg retrieval yielded 1 euploid embryo, with issues like empty follicles and lower-quality sperm. Our doctor mentioned that sperm quality can vary between batches. Ultimately, while CoQ10 may be beneficial, success may also depend on individual factors and luck.

Have you tried ICSI and Zymot? If your husband has sperm issues such as DNA fragmentation, these are likely to be the recommended solutions.

Is he avoiding saunas?

My husband underwent TESE due to high DNA fragmentation levels, resulting in improved outcomes compared to previous rounds. While TESE is more invasive than zymot, I believe addressing DNA fragmentation through testing and finding solutions is worthwhile.

Using Theralogix products for egg and sperm health for 2-3 months before retrieval proved beneficial. Additionally, we cut caffeine, reduced alcohol, and stayed committed to a healthy lifestyle.

PICSI is deemed more beneficial than ICSI for male factor infertility, however, it is not widely performed in clinics. I highly recommend addressing the DNA fragmentation issue, as it was the only significant factor we discovered after 4 years of unexplained infertility following a miscarriage and numerous failed treatments.

There is some possibility that if there is consistency in aneuploid embryos, it could indicate a balanced translocation. Without this indication, egg quality improvement is limited. CoQ10 might provide some help, but maternal age remains the most significant factor. It is likely that at 34 years old, this pattern may not continue with future egg retrievals. Studies suggest that experiencing all aneuploid embryos in one round does not necessarily predict the same outcome in subsequent rounds, particularly until reaching one’s early 40s.

Hi, this article is very informative. What I especially appreciate is that it highlights the importance of preparing around three months before treatment
