I’ve been struggling with a decision lately and could really use some insight. My partner and I have frozen embryos from our previous fertility treatments, but we are unsure about what to do next. Should we keep them frozen, use them for another pregnancy attempt, donate them, or discard them? Has anyone been in a similar situation or have any advice to share? I’d appreciate any thoughts or experiences you’re willing to offer. Thank you in advance for your help!
I suggest reaching out to them quickly to discuss reworking the contracts. Each clinic has varying timelines for utilizing stored embryos. We personally have a yearly fee for storing up to 5 embryos. It’s possible that their fees are listed on their website, as ours were.
Most clinics typically store your items for you with payment, but if you fail to pay for storage, you can decide what to do with them. To avoid this, simply communicate with your clinic.
