Hi all,
I am on my 3rd FET and feeling a mix of emotions right now. If you have had a successful 3rd FET, could you please share your story and any tips you have? I could really use some hope and inspiration right now. Let’s uplift and support each other on this journey. Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences. ![]()
The third transfer resulted in the gift of my little miracle ![]()

despite imperfect betas, he/she is perfect. Unfortunately, the first transfer resulted in a blighted ovum and the second did not implant. Wishing you the best of luck!!
I experienced two unsuccessful euploid FETs before this current successful pregnancy at 25 weeks. Despite minimal diagnostics performed by my RE, including an HSG, endometrial biopsy, and an updated SIS, no issues were found. The same modified natural protocol was used for each transfer. I understand the disappointment of not seeing success yet, but with hope and perseverance, things can turn around. Best wishes for your next FET, and may the third time be the charm for you. ![]()
I understand the struggle of failed transfers, I’ve been there with my last 3. The process is tough. Despite the challenges, I have 1 living child from IVF, which gave me hope. I believe each failed transfer brings me closer to the baby I’m meant to have. Stay strong and don’t lose hope!
The third transfer resulted in the successful conception of my daughter, despite multiple tests coming back normal. IVF was pursued due to male factor infertility, but there were no clear issues on my end. The clinic utilized a variety of treatments, including medrol, prednisone, neupogen injections, heparin injections, baby aspirin, estrace pills/patches, and PIO. The embryo was a high quality 4aa untested embryo from my second egg retrieval at 34 years old. Prayers for a successful outcome.
I apologize for the two unsuccessful transfers. I experienced the same thing, but the third one was successful and I am now 29 weeks pregnant. Sending positive thoughts your way!
My third attempt is approaching, and I remember my friend who achieved success on her fifth euploid transfer. She switched to a new clinic with different embryos and fewer steroids, compared to her previous attempts where she suspects she was on too many medications. For her successful transfer, she did a semi-medicated cycle, after a failed attempt with the same approach. She experienced complete implantation failure in her four previous attempts.
I understand where you’re coming from! I’m also on my third transfer and wish you a successful one. We will be starting in two cycles as well. It’s great that you completed all the testing, even though it can be overwhelming when they all come back clear. I hope this new protocol brings you better results
.
I am following because I am eagerly awaiting the beta test results on Friday after transferring a third euploid embryo following two previous failed attempts.
Getting ready for my third FET on Friday
, hoping for better luck this time after my first two failed attempts. Feeling hopeful but also anxious.
I followed the same protocol as before, completing a course of doxy a month prior. This is my third transfer and I am currently 12+4 weeks pregnant with my last embryo. I took 5 days off after the transfer to relax, as I have a high stress job. Despite doing everything possible for the first two transfers, they completely failed to implant. This time, I took a more relaxed approach, enjoying coffee from Starbucks and only eating foods I love. I have been much happier throughout this process and feel lucky that this embryo stuck. ![]()
I shared details of my journey on Reddit, you can find it here. Best of luck to you! ![]()
I am nearing my third and final transfer after two failed euploid transfers. We ran tests between the first two transfers for ERA, EMMA/ALICE, and Receptiva. Unfortunately, we discovered invalid EMMA/ALICE results after the second transfer, so we are currently waiting on a repeat. It’s difficult to remain hopeful, but we are not making any changes for the third transfer, except for transferring both remaining embryos (day 7 BCs) together. Best of luck to you!
Your 4th transfer was lucky! Everything has its time, so I’m sending you lots of baby dust for success.
Our third attempt was successful! Going through the first two transfers was tough, but entering the third with hope made all the difference. I switched from progesterone suppositories to shots, but everything else remained the same. Sending positive vibes your way ![]()

I am on my third transfer and I am 15 weeks pregnant.
I am currently 35 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my third FET! I have been receiving acupuncture regularly throughout this process - before transfer, the day before transfer, and 24 hours and 2 days after transfer. My theory is to promote good circulation through acupuncture, light walks, and more. Wishing you the best of luck! ![]()
Have you considered a proactive RPL panel along with hysteroscopy for further investigation?
I’ve heard that the third time is usually when things work out! Could I inquire about how much aspirin you take?
I had two unsuccessful fully medicated FETs with untested embryos in 2020. After thawing and testing my remaining embryos last year, my third FET resulted in our almost 6-month-old baby. This is my very first positive result after 20 years. Hoping the third time is the charm for you! ![]()
