Navigating NAC: My Before and After Transfer Journey

I recently went through a transfer where NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) played a crucial role in my experience. Before the transfer, I was unsure about its benefits and effectiveness. However, after incorporating NAC into my routine, I noticed significant changes in my well-being. I’m curious to hear from others who have had similar experiences. How has NAC impacted your life before and after a transfer? Share your story!

I have been consistently taking it post-transfer and post-positive tests due to a study that shows NAC and folic acid combined have double the success rates of conceiving compared to folic acid alone. I will attempt to locate the study and share it here.

I recently started taking NAC to help with oxidative stress even though I haven’t had my first FET yet. I’ve noticed better growth and maturity sizing in my cycles leading up to the ER cycle, and overall I feel better since starting it. My doctor approved it and said it could potentially help. My FET cycle started today and I plan to continue taking NAC for at least this week. From what I’ve heard, NAC is a fast-acting antioxidant that my naturopath also recommended. Just my experience and 2 cents!

Wow, that’s fascinating! I’ve been taking NAC for a few months (1000-1200mg/day) and haven’t experienced any negative effects. My doctor recommended it for my possible endometriosis, autoimmunity, and fertility issues. I haven’t tried to conceive yet. I also take low dose naltrexone, which could be beneficial to consider!

NAC is wonderful, I take 1200-1800mg daily during and between cycles, including during pregnancy for placental health. It is recommended to take it on an empty stomach. Resveratrol is another supplement to consider for endometriosis, but stop taking it before starting transfers as it may affect your lining.
