I recently had an appointment at the Albany CNY clinic, and I wanted to share my thoughts about it with all of you. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, I did encounter a bit of a wait time, which made me a bit anxious. Despite that, the doctors were knowledgeable and took the time to address all of my concerns. Overall, it was a positive experience, but I’m curious to hear about others’ experiences at the clinic. Have any of you been there before? What are your thoughts? Let’s share and support each other through our healthcare journeys.
I’m sorry to hear about your frustrating experience with CNY in Colorado Springs. I have had mixed experiences as well. Advocating for yourself is important, as I have had to follow up multiple times on the patient portal. Despite two rounds of ER, I did not get the outcome I hoped for. I chose CNY due to lack of insurance coverage and paid out of pocket. A doctor at a local clinic made comments that upset me during an ultrasound. I have two euploids and 1 LLM over two rounds and am hopeful for a successful transfer this month. We are dealing with unexplained infertility and I am 38 years old.
My egg counts varied despite having a trained sonographer present. The first count, done by a student with supervision, was 7. The second count, by a regular sonographer, was 3, which was devastating before going to the ER. At the ER, they collected 6 eggs, 5 of which were mature. I had all my monitoring appointments at a local hospital due to being a travel patient with CNY Buffalo. Overall, I had a positive experience with CNY, although they may take some time to answer questions. I appreciated the doctors and nurses during retrieval and transfer. Good luck to you.
