I’m new to this group and feeling a mix of emotions as my partner and I begin our journey with IVF. The bruising from the IV needle was the worst I’ve ever had, but fortunately it disappeared quickly without causing any pain.
In my recent egg retrieval procedure, I did not experience any bruising from the IV needle. However, I have had significant bruising from IVs in other medical procedures. I recommend trying Arnica products as they are effective for healing bruises quickly. Additionally, you can ice the area tonight and tomorrow to help with the fresh “injury”.
