I’m feeling a bit lost and would appreciate some insights from those who have experienced this. I just had my FET (frozen embryo transfer) a few days ago, and I’m not noticing any typical symptoms like cramping or sore breasts. Is this normal? Am I overthinking things, or should I be worried? Any shared experiences or advice would be truly helpful right now.
It is unlikely that any symptoms experienced at this point are related to pregnancy. Pregnancy symptoms typically do not appear until at least 5 weeks, and for many individuals, they may not appear until later. Best of luck.
In the two-week wait, the symptoms can be attributed to medication. They may vary from transfer to transfer, but they don’t indicate success or failure. I personally didn’t notice a distinction between successful and unsuccessful transfers. Best of luck!
I have experienced several chemical pregnancies and one ectopic pregnancy. Surprisingly, whenever I was actually pregnant, I didn’t experience any symptoms. The times I wasn’t pregnant, I felt like I was. My lack of symptoms is my signal! Best of luck to you and sending baby dust your way!
This is my second FET, with the first one only reaching 4 weeks. I haven’t had any symptoms yet, similar to my previous blighted ovum pregnancy where symptoms didn’t arrive until at least 6 weeks.
Throughout my entire pregnancy, the only symptom I experienced was my belly growing, so I didn’t have any post-FET symptoms and the pregnancy was successful
Today I am six weeks pregnant. I only experienced mild symptoms up until week five, besides some slight cramps that I always get with progesterone.
I didn’t experience any symptoms until around 8 weeks after my transfer was successful. Good luck to you!
Content warning: success
During my first transfer, I experienced minor symptoms but dismissed them due to my pessimism. Surprisingly, that transfer was successful.
For the second transfer, I unexpectedly had all the symptoms and assumed it would work out, but it resulted in a negative outcome.
During the third round, I had no symptoms and even considered stopping my medications midway through the two-week wait. However, to my surprise, I received a positive pregnancy test.
Trigger warning: success update
I have not experienced any new symptoms after the FET. Despite experiencing a lot of symptoms from the PIO and estradiol, I mistakenly believed it didn’t work. However, I was proven wrong at my blood test - I am now 12 weeks along. On a side note, my symptoms began around 6 weeks and are still persisting.
I don’t have any symptoms except for feeling heavy in my belly when I take hcg and progesterone.
Hello! I had a successful FET with no symptoms at all! I felt great, no implantation cramping, just felt “normal”. Pregnancy symptoms didn’t start until around 6 weeks for me and have continued since then!
Following because I’ve no symptoms either and it’s terrifying me that this is a complete failure of a transfer.
