I had my 5 weeks 5 days ultrasound today, and it was heartbreaking to hear that nothing was found. I’m feeling lost and confused. Has anyone else experienced this? I would appreciate any advice or shared experiences.
I went through a similar situation in the past. Initially, there was no gestational sac at 5w4d, leading to concerns about ectopic pregnancy. However, by 6w3d, there was a sac, egg yolk, and fetal pole, resulting in a healthy baby girl now at 18w. Stay positive and hopefully, you will have a similar positive outcome 
I apologize for the situation. It appears to be a pregnancy of unknown location. By 5+5 weeks, you should be able to see a gestational sac and interior structures of the embryo on ultrasound. Have you discussed this with your doctor yet?
In this situation, they ultimately identified a sac, but unfortunately, it was not a successful pregnancy. While my betas eventually began to increase normally, they cautioned me that this often does not lead to positive outcomes, usually resulting in a pregnancy of unknown location or a miscarriage when initial betas are low. Although there is a slight possibility of being an exception, it is important to protect yourself emotionally.
I’m sorry you’re experiencing this. When I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks, nothing was found, but my hcg levels were still rising so I was treated for an ectopic pregnancy. Hopefully, you’re just in the early stages. Best of luck to you! 
My HCG level was 2780 today, but there was nothing shown in the ultrasound. I am really struggling with this.
