Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a bit of my journey with you all. I turned 40 recently and my partner and I had been trying to conceive without success for quite some time. After some discussions, we decided to go for IVF and ended up transferring a 7-day embryo.
To be honest, I was quite nervous about the whole process and worried that my age might be a barrier to success. But I’m happy to report that we recently got the wonderful news that we are expecting!
I know the journey can be tough, especially for those of us who are a bit older, but I wanted to share this story as a message
I appreciate you sharing this. At 42, I have a day-7 euploid, getting transferred soon and your post fills me with hope ![]()

Congrats to those resilient day 7 fighters! The chances may be slim, but they’re definitely not zero!
Thanks a lot! I’m 41 years old and have two tested embryos, so I really appreciate the hope and support. ![]()
I appreciate you sharing your story! As I approach my 42nd birthday, I feel hopeful after hearing about your Day 7 embryo success. It’s not about bragging, but rather finding inspiration in your journey, as many of us can relate to the challenges of no blastocysts or aneuploid embryos. Thank you for giving us hope with your success story.
Thank you for following your heart and sharing. I’ve taken a screenshot and sent it to my wife, who isn’t on Reddit. She is turning 40 in May and is struggling on her journey. I’m curious about your location and who you went to for treatment. I believe that success is more about the body’s natural processes than the doctor’s skill. Thank you for sharing.
I really like this! Have a euploid embryo on Day 7 frozen- struggling to find another euploid and deciding when to stop. Also a member of the Day 7 embryo Facebook group for more success stories.
I appreciate you sharing this. At 42, I’m just beginning and sometimes doubt if it’s worth it. This was exactly what I needed to read.
Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your success! Could you please share any changes you made in round 3 that led to such a positive outcome? Such as changes in protocol, lifestyle, supplements, and the number of eggs retrieved and matured. I am also 41 and having difficulty in getting to blastocyst stage…
I appreciate you sharing your successful experience! At 41.7 years old, I only have one euploid embryo at 6 days 4CB. Your post has given me hope as I prepare for my transfer next month. I hope to have a success story just like yours to share.
I am incredibly grateful for your support. Turning 43 in April and going through the IVF process with just one embryo surviving to the testing stage has been a challenging journey. Thank you for being there for me.
Thank you so much for your supportive words. It means a lot to me. I have been through a difficult fertility journey with multiple failed transfers and now considering the use of donor eggs. This has been a challenging process and I am struggling with my mental health. I hoped to see some resemblance of my parents in my child, and the idea of using donor eggs is heartbreaking. I appreciate your understanding and kindness during this time.
Great job, Day 7 embryo! You did an amazing job! Thanks for sharing, I’m thrilled for you!
I appreciate you sharing your success story, it’s inspiring! I also have one euploid embryo, and it’s a day 7. Hoping for a successful transfer in the next month. ![]()
Thanks for sharing! Unfortunately, my 4x Day 6 embryos did not pass their PGT tests. We are starting over later this month, hoping for a better outcome. It is encouraging to hear that success is possible, especially when I regret waiting so long to pursue this.
Reading posts like this gives me hope and courage to continue on this journey. Thank you for sharing your successful story.
Congratulations on your success, thank you for sharing! Your hope is much needed here as I go through my third FET after experiencing losses and failures. This process is brutal but your story gives me hope. Enjoy your blessing! ![]()
What treatment finally worked for you after going through two unsuccessful cycles at the age of 41?
I really enjoy seeing posts like this. Thank you for sharing, and congratulations on the great news!
What a beautiful story! I’m so happy for you. Thanks for sharing!
