Feeling Anxious: How Late Did You Get a Positive After an Embryo Transfer?

Hey everyone, I recently had an embryo transfer, and I’m feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. I’ve read so much about when to take a pregnancy test after the procedure, but the wait is killing me! How late did you get your positive result after an embryo transfer? I’d love to hear your stories and experiences. Let’s support each other through this nerve-wracking wait!

I didn’t receive a positive result until day 10 with my 1 year old, which was the same day as my beta test.

7 days post-transfer was the most recent result out of 9 transfers, resulting in 4 live births.

I apologize, but if you’re getting a negative result on a FRER, it’s important to be cautious. The sensitivity is low. My own experience: I received a negative result on a FRER at 8dpt during my first transfer and my beta was under 5.

I’m hoping for the best for you, even though the odds may be against us. If you don’t get good news by day 8, the chances of a successful pregnancy are only 4%, according to a study I shared in September. I can look for the post later, after work.
