Hey everyone,
I had my hysteroscopy last week, and I’m feeling a mix of relief and anxiety. The procedure itself wasn’t as bad as I had imagined, but now I can’t shake this feeling of unease. Has anyone else experienced this after their hysteroscopy? I’d love to hear your stories or any tips on how to deal with post-procedure anxiety. Thanks in advance, you all are wonderful!
I did not have any cramping following the hysteroscopy procedure. If you are worried about infection, please contact your clinic for further guidance.
I have undergone 4 hysteroscopies this year and experienced some dull cramping afterward. It’s important to note that this cramping is normal and not excruciating. To help alleviate the discomfort, I usually lay down with a heating pad and take any advised pain killers. If you’re worried about infection, keep an eye out for a fever as that could indicate a problem and it’s best to contact your doctor if this occurs.
