Feeling Anxious About The PGTA Results,.,

As the moment for the PGTA results approaches, I find myself flooded with anticipation and nerves. The endless hours of preparation, the late-night study sessions, the dedication we poured into this… all leading up to this one reveal. The wait seems eternal, the suspense unbearable. How are you coping with the anxious anticipation? Let’s support each other through these final moments before the outcome of our hard work is unveiled.

I just got off the call and sadly, all three of my blasts from my first ER were abnormal. I’m following this post for positivity on the IVF rollercoaster. Hoping for success stories and wishing for luck with ER #2 for both of us! :four_leaf_clover:

I completely understand! It’s tough to share your excitement about IVF only to have to retract that good news if things don’t go well. I went through a similar situation with my first ER, but the second one turned out much better. Even though I was expecting more bad news, things improved. Don’t give up hope, things may turn out better than you expect. Sending positive vibes your way!

I have not yet completed the transfer process, so the final result is still unknown. However, during my third retrieval in April, I had 20 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 4 resulting in blastocysts, and one tested euploid. I am currently 43 years old and turning 44 at the end of this month. Sending positive vibes your way!

I underwent 3 rounds of egg retrieval as a package due to my diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) at the age of 39. In the first round, all 3 blasts were abnormal. In the second round, 1 blast was euploid and I am currently in the two-week wait (TWW). In the third round, all 3 blasts were euploid. Each month is unique, so I hope that in this round you will have success with some euploid embryos from your 7 blasts. Good luck!

Wow, 4 regular blasts! I hope this one is successful and you have 3 more ready. So exciting! Thank you for your support!

Trigger warning: pregnancy mentioned. I am part of the “it only takes one” group. After 6 years of trying to conceive, 4 egg retrievals, over 50 eggs retrieved, 11 embryos, 5 frozen embryo transfers, and 2 early losses, I am now 35 weeks pregnant with our final embryo from our 4th retrieval. Despite feeling doubtful, especially when only one embryo made it to day 5, we are now on track with low risk screenings and positive ultrasounds. Best of luck to you! :crossed_fingers:

How are you managing while waiting? My day 7 report was on June 27th. This was my first egg retrieval and I retrieved 6 embryos. I can’t shake off the feeling that bad luck might be waiting for me in the next phase. I’m starting to feel anxious again as I wait for the results in the coming days. I really hope to receive some good news soon!

Excellent outcome! May I inquire about your methodology?

Exciting news - this round resulted in (5) normal embryos out of (7)! There was no change in protocol, just a better batch. Turning 40 this week!

We received our results recently: 35 eggs retrieved, 9 or 10 fertilized, 7 reached the blastocyst stage, and 5 are euploid. The genetic counselor mentioned 6 embryos, but will discuss one with my doctor.
