Exploring Vaginal Probiotics for Improved Embryo Transfer Success

Hey folks, I’m diving into a new realm of research and come across the idea of using vaginal probiotics to enhance the success of embryo transfers. It’s an intriguing concept, but I’m curious about your thoughts and experiences with this approach. Has anyone tried using vaginal probiotics in preparation for embryo transfer? Any success stories or words of caution to share? Let’s get the conversation going and learn from each other’s journeys in the world of fertility treatments!

I take a women’s health probiotic as a precaution, as my doctor mentioned it could be beneficial. Although he did not specifically recommend it, I decided to try it on my own. It’s hard to say if it’s truly effective, but my body reacts well to it so I continue to use it.

The tasks that my FS is requesting us to do.

My doctor recommended adding those to my current cycle as the only change to the protocol. I will have my beta test on 8/2 and will report back with the results.

Have they been taking them for a specific duration? I’ve learned that they typically take them for around a week before the transfer.

I take them regularly to prevent recurring infections that may be linked to my chemical exposure.

Congratulations! It was a pleasure to read that.

Can you tell me if your probiotics were meant for vaginal or oral use?

I appreciate it! How long did you take the vaginal supplements? I’m currently only doing oral but I’m interested in trying vaginal as well.

I heard that they didn’t suggest it during that time, but I am grateful for it.
