Confused about Ovulation Timing Before Egg Retrieval ๐Ÿ˜•

Iโ€™m feeling a bit lost and confused about ovulation timing before my upcoming egg retrieval. Can anyone share their experiences or insights on this? Iโ€™d really appreciate any advice or information you can offer!

Maybe you stopped taking the stims. I felt more energetic the day before the ER and got good results

This occurred suddenly for me before my ER appointment, and I was worried that I had ovulated due to not feeling my ovaries anymore. Upon discussing this with the doctor during the procedure, he informed me that the ovaries can shift backward and enlarge, resulting in decreased sensation. I had 19 eggs retrieved, so itโ€™s probable that the same happened to you!

I experienced the same thing and had similar thoughts. When my doctor asked about my pain level the morning of my ER, I told her I was at a 3/10 two days prior but was now pain-free and feeling great. I was concerned about my follicles, but luckily that was not the case. Donโ€™t stress and consider yourself fortunate. Good luck!.

Thank you everyone for the comforting words and support! Hoping for the best!

Towards the end of my stims, I experienced a similar disappearance of symptoms. When I inquired about the possibility of ovulation, my clinic clarified that if I had ovulated, I would feel more bloated and uncomfortable due to increased progesterone levels.

Yesterday, I was anxiously searching for information on egg retrieval, and they ended up getting 23 eggs. However, my great feeling only lasted 2-3 hours before I started feeling bloated and uncomfortable again. When I woke up from anesthesia, my first question was if I had ovulated early. :joy:
