Burglar Alarm Blunder: My Brush with Security

I had quite the eventful morning today. As I was peacefully working from home, lost in my own world of spreadsheets and emails, suddenly my peaceful bubble was shattered by a blaring security alarm. Talk about being jolted out of my comfort zone! I scrambled in confusion, my heart racing as I tried to figure out what was going on. Little did I know, it was all about to unfold into a comedy of errors that left me red-faced and fumbling for explanations.

If she was really concerned about her grandchildren she wouldn’t have drawn attention to you. :upside_down_face: Did she at least apologize?

You made me laugh while cramping and bleeding and that whole story is AMAZING. Thank you so much for sharing

This is hilarious haha.

I mixed and gave myself my trigger shot on a park bench in Barcelona and someone came and sat down next to us and started doing their own (I’m assuming non-prescription) drugs. Apparently we seemed like a safe space haha.

Thank you for the audiobook recommendation

What a B for calling you out about your shots. Has someone told Grandma that half the fucking world is shooting GLP-1s?

Omg the book on your phone :skull::skull::skull:

First of all, I’m sorry today sucked!! But that second part might be the best story I’ve ever seen on Reddit and I can’t stop laughing. Thank you for sharing!

the grandma beating on your car roof while you’re mixing a shot is wild, like where did she think you were, mainlining heroin in a clinic parking lot at dawn? she probably scared those grandkids more by screaming at a stranger. but the phone moment is the cherry on top. i had a true crime podcast start playing during a pap smear once and the nurse had to ask me to pause it. your audiobook choice adds a whole new layer though. the fact that you held it together enough to not just bolt out of the chair is impressive. i would’ve melted into the floor. sending you a less chaotic morning for your next try.

Big “gotta laugh to keep from crying” energy here, and I love that for you! Bless your heart, but lmaoooo :sob:

What are her grandkids doing staring at strangers in their cars?

This is hilarious  thank you for sharing!
And I am so sorry your FET got cancelled. Everything happens for a reason. When did it get rescheduled to?

seriously i have to give props to the nurse on this one. she kept a straight face so well that you actually thought it was her listening to red light district in the morning?!? that’s a keeper right there. she gets a 10/10. clearly nothing surprises her anymore. awesome story.

LEGEND!
Thanks for the laugh today. Here in solidarity!

I’m literally dying laughing hahahaha

Thank you for sharing. I absolutely needed that story. So sorry you had to live it though!!

Omg :joy::joy::joy::joy: this is hilarious! Thanks for sharing!

Grandma sounds like she has problems. Lots of people inject meds multiple times a day out in public, like diabetics on insulin. That’s why some public bathrooms have sharps containers, it’s not for the crackheads to dispose of their needles lol

Sorry you had to go through that!

If it makes you laugh I did a PIO shot at the Georgia aquarium stall and a small girl peeked under my stall and went ewwww needle as I’m standing there about to inject myself :woman_facepalming:

As a fellow “laugh through the pain” club member, thanks for sharing! I needed a good chuckle today. Good luck with your blood draw and future treatments!
