Initially consulted in April/May and began fertility treatments in September. The timeline would have been shorter if not for needing the varicella vaccine, which caused a delay of 2 months. The length of the process depends on any additional obstacles encountered and the waiting period for necessary procedures.
I had my first appointment in late May and will be starting stims on August 31st, so it’s been about 3 months.
Consultation in January led to starting medication in February. This cycle proceeded quickly due to starting right after the initial consult.
We had our initial meeting in April or May, followed by egg retrieval in August, first transfer in December, and second transfer in March. We just completed our journey at the clinic in May, so it took a year from beginning to end!
After completing all necessary initial testing, we determined that we had to pursue IVF. Now, we are just waiting for the perfect timing with my cycle - will it be a few weeks before we can begin stims for the egg retrieval process?
It took approximately half a year from the first consultation to the first IUI procedure (wasteful). It took 3 years from consultation to a successful FET.
I had to undergo 3 rounds of IUI before my insurance would provide coverage for IVF, so there was a three-month gap between the end of IUI and the beginning of stims.
I had my first consultation in early December, followed by an emergency room visit in early February, and finally had my first transfer on March 14th. The wait for the results from the egg retrieval to the PGT testing and transfer was the most challenging part of the process!
The homosexual couple proceeded directly to IVF, starting with an initial consult on July 13. Baselines were done on July 20, and the wife had egg retrieval in mid August, while the first embryo transfer was done by the husband in early October.
Hey there!
I contacted a different clinic in November after experiencing IUIs and ectopic pregnancy rupture. My first consultation took place in late February. Most of the testing was already done, but I had to undergo an SIS on cycle day 10 of the following cycle.
I began stims in April and had my egg retrieval on 4/30.
My frozen embryo transfer is set for 5/27!
Initial appointment and baseline bloodwork on Jan 10th, followed by a saline sonogram on Jan 17th. Started estrogen patch on Jan 25th and had period on Jan 31st. Baseline ultrasound and bloodwork done on Feb 1st, followed by starting stimulation medications on Feb 2nd for 10 days with frequent ultrasounds and bloodwork. Trigger shot on Feb 12th, followed by sending out egg retrieval for PGD testing on Feb 14th. Started estrogen pills and patches on Feb 26th and began progesterone in oil injections on March 12th. Frozen embryo transfer on March 17th, with first pregnancy test on March 25th - a total of 9 weeks from initial appointment to transfer!
